How We Verify Codes

Every store page on Coupontoz shows one best code at the top and the rest ranked below it. Here is how a code gets there and how we keep the page honest.

1. Finding codes

We collect codes from store newsletters and websites, official social media, creator videos on YouTube, and codes shoppers send us. New codes are reviewed before they appear on a page.

2. Testing

Where we can, we add an item to the cart and try the code at checkout. When a code works we record the date as “last worked”. If a code needs a minimum spend, a first order or a specific product, we say so on the page.

3. Shopper results

After you copy a code, we ask one question: did it work? Your yes or no is counted for that code. Once a code has enough answers, its success rate comes from real shoppers rather than from us, and the codes below the top pick are re-ranked automatically.

4. The top code

The code in the “Best code” box is chosen and checked by our team. We update it when we find a better one or when it stops working.

5. Expired codes

Codes that pass their end date or stop working are moved to an expired list, so they don’t get in your way.

6. When there is no code

Some stores rarely offer codes. If we have nothing that works, we say so instead of filling the page with guesses.
